I love South County! I was driving to school and thanks to the Flip video that Sherri so kindly let me borrow, I got these great shots of chickens just hanging out by the road! I liked playing with editing techniques and finally found that I prefer less editing and more naturalistic shots because it's less choppy and more authentic to it's original form seen by the human eye. In a way I find that this video creates a story. And classmates, this is not morbid/dark in the least :P.

TURKEYS AND CHICKENS !!! I KNOW THOSE TURKEYS and the MOTHER HEN...okay well I don't know them, but I think that they would remember me, and I surely remember them--THEY ATTACKEDDDDD ME ! Last winter I basically tried to do what you did with the video camera, only with my digital for still frames...and I got out of my car and tried to be personal...well those things did not like me walking into their territory and chased me off in my car. It was horrible. I hope that they didn't almost run you off the road! And you are so lucky to have captured them on video!
ReplyDeleteHa that's awesome. I've had many experiences with wild turkeys. They are MUCH faster than you think, and they sound angry all the time. That's lucky that you captured them on film while driving. That last shot is nice too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a "Peacock" to me... What ever they were it is always great to capture wild animals on video. Nicely done!
