The biggest firefly ever...

How incredible would a firefly with a bulb this big be? That would be the catch of a lifetime...

Half dollar to penny

I got lucky with the penny.

A bee in it's element

I think that it was cool to be able to film a bee doing it's thing. I believe that it personifies the simple beauty of nature and the amazing abilities of recording a video. Now we can see a bee in it's natural element!

Rising

Just messing around with some in-camera editing my camera can do. Not sure if that's allowed either, but I was curious...

Home-Rolled

$8 a pack is ridiculous, you're better off rolling your own cigarettes.

The Trip

Piano

My room mate was playing the piano so I thought I'd get some footage of it. I thought I'd try it in black and white because the majority of my shot (the piano) was already that color scheme.

Damnation

Big brother teasing

It was so funny to see how Atticus, "le petit chien" is crying and asking for the bone from his brother that I couldn't resist to film them!

A nice day for a drive.. through maine

I decided to go enjoy Maine in the fall this weekend.

This is en-route to pick some apples.

The song is "Diamond" by Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers

TIME

Stress

This could be equivalent to many things in life...

Straight up:

Paying for gas is stressful--does this video stress you out, just watching the numbers?

And metaphorically:

As the gallons of work load in life increase..so does the amount I spend on coffee.

I wanted to add to my description and thoughts of this that at first I was going to remove the sound...but then I decided the sound was important to how this makes me feel when I watch the video.

The Check Mishap

The search for death

An Interesting Mugging

this is my last minute effort after my previous plan failed. it's a little bizzarre.

Smoke Break

It Grows On My Arm

Proof of concept for having a drawing "grow" on my arm.
I got bored after about 30 pix so it speeds up at the end but you get the idea.

Wrong Number

...should've let it go to voicemail...

Apple Time.

Two Shots

Double the fun

It was pretty outside, and I love lens flare.

"What the ..? "

This video I just found in my files that I thought was funny but I wasn't sure about the rule on uploading old content so I thought I'd just add it along with the assignment.

sit and spin

I'm sure most of you remember the toy sit & spin from when we were kids... that was my inspiration. And believe me, filming this made me just as dizzy.

Break dancing

I shot this the right side up, but found it to be even more fun on its side!

The 12 week old kitten and the 5 year old cat finally hit it off.

Boiling Point

This is representative of feeling like I have been scorched with work in the first two weeks of school.

"kiss my sicilian ass"

an interesting woman in downtown Providence.

Just keep your files small

I uploaded this small piece of mine, (Spider, 2 min. 2007). It's a 7.5 MB file and it certainly took long enough to upload.

Your pieces will be much shorter, and thus, smaller files. I wouldn't upload a file any bigger than 8MB. If you find you are having trouble uploading a video, recompress with H.264 compression. (I can show you how to do that).
