I thought that this was a cute idea...I like playing with the ordinary and making it more than what you expect! Enjoy!

RJ,
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very interesting film. Obviously, it could take on so many meanings. What I got from it was that the world is so big, and we are just a shadow of all the things in it sometimes, but even as something so small compared to something so big--we can make it interesting with something as small as a little kick of the legs. It made me laugh at the end there. This could be totally off of what you were imagining with it, but I think the ability to be able to read in different ways, makes it a neat film.
that just reminded me of when people take pictures at different distances so it looks like you are holding a person or building in your hand. very cool idea. and the end just made it perfect... something as small as kicking legs made it very comedic.
ReplyDeleteI really like the vivid colors and how you panned down to a shadow with a comedic end. I especially like how smooth the panning is.
ReplyDeleteI love the little dance in the end. Your first musical!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea. Seeing the world from the top down. Cool shot
ReplyDeleteI love how simple, clean and linear the shot is, only to be interupted by the little jig at the end!
ReplyDeleteVery simple and playful - sweet! Reminds me just a little of a wonderful, small film called "All My Life" by Bruce Baillie.
ReplyDeleteI liked how the simplicity of the shot of the sky and tree lulls you into a calm, leaving you unprepared for the crazy shadow dance.
