Cops and Zombies
This happened while filming for the final project near my house late Wednesday night. I guess one of the neighbors thought my zombie was a drunk driver that had crashed in the field and they called the cops. Three cop cars, an ambulance and a fire truck, all for one zombie.
What I am most thankful for...
So my blog entry this week is more like a series of posts...I took all of these on my drive home for Thanksgiving break, and I couldn't pick just one... They go over the 20 second limit--sorry Professor Wills, but I hope you all will enjoy this series...

Midterm Question for Brett Gaylor
Q. Do you think this war between copyright and copyleft will end in the future or is it just starting?
A. Watch the video ^

World Suck
While none of these "moves" work out, and the shots don't hit the target (although very close), this was a trial run for the final video which has changed from a music video to a Mockumentry about some of Rhode Island's finest/worst street soccer strikers.

The Shadow Metamorphosis
I tried playing with shadows and found that there were a lot of creative and interesting stories to tell.

Final Project Demo
I think the Final title is going to be Falling up...let me know what you think :)
Final Demo
So this is a very rough beginning to what will be my final project. It will make more sense when it's all put together but this kind of sets the tone.
Lights and The Camera- (weekly blog update)
For my final project it is important to me to use natural lighting and the interesting beauty of light reflecting off of various things and the way that the camera sees it. Here are some clips that haven't made it into the first draft! Enjoy~
My Final Project Demo- Music Video
I tried to use alot of cool natural camera effects, symbolism, and emotion.
My Jeans My Jeans- Libsfinal clips thusfar
These are the beginning clips to my final film. I am attempting a final music video. I think it's time I venture. I also think it came out really pixelated cause of the amount of MB it is, but oh well, maybe itll make it look somewhat cooler.
All the sound will also be removed from it and overlayed with my only personal rap. If anyone knows any beat boxers or music composers id like to use original background beat too if possible, otherwise rockband will have to suffice

Final Project Sample shot
I'm going away tomorrow until late Monday so I won't have a chance to upload my sample of the final project, so here it is. My video will be a fake, short documentary on some fake band that my friends pretend to be in. This is a shot of me asking what their favorite song is and then of them playing it. Not too much editing involved except a simple transition and having the audio of the interview playing over the video of them playing. Enjoy.

Running Backwards
I'm going through a lot of life stuff at this moment in my life and what better way to let out emotions than through art!? Once again I used the natural radio but this time played with volume and camera distance to show emotion. Watch for the climactic last shot! Enjoy!
70's Big Cal
This is my room mate.
The 70's Big Man we all know and love as Cal Colchester.
His strength is a force to be reckoned with.

Blog Post
this is my favorite bucket drummer ever, he's always outside shows that I go to in Boston.
Remember Remember
Sorry for the length, goes with the music. The mini projector allowed me to do this in- camera.
Rachel's Final Project
This video is during my class in Sculpture. I thought it will be interesting to "interview" a classmate about her final project!
I would like to "thank" Rachel for letting me film her ;)

She's From Boston
Clips around Boston. I shot this at night since I really like the colors of the city against the contrast of the dark sky.

An explanation
This is my blog entry for this upcoming Sunday. I will be away without Internet so I am posting extremely early, don't mind me. It is a bit of an explanation for the video I posted last week. Hope you enjoy : )
The Beauty of Fall- Roadtrip to New Hampshire.
Note: the background music is the real radio and I feel like it really brings another perspective of time and creativity to the short film. My idea was to show the beauty of New England that one can capture just by driving through it in the Fall.

Improvised Art
If you've ever wondered where the rocking chair in the loading dock came from, Pat built it out of sticks.
Skim Montage
Song: Nightingale Song
Artist: Toad The Wet Sprocket
This was some left over footage I had from the beginning of this summer.
Bursting at the Banks
The following video is my edited piece with transitions. Hope you enjoy.
The song used is called "For Blue Skies" by Strays Don't Sleep.
My beautiful dog
I think that I played with different camera movements to create an interesting and personal testament to the beauty of the doberman.
