Adam's Continuity Assignment

1. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - The Waitress is Getting Married
During Charlie's date scene the camera follows a few conversations. The timing of the cuts clearly affects how funny the scene is, often holding to increase the awkward tension. Some close-ups hold long enough for the expressions of the actors to change a few times, and because of the continuous diegetic sound it doesn't seem to deviate from the normal flow of time.

2. Futurama

This scene follows Fry as he meets Doctor Zoidberg. Close-ups highlight the important elements of the scene as well as capture each character's reactions. A POV shot from Fry works well to transition from Zoidberg sitting at the desk to standing. Cartoon editing is great because the director can create most camera effects without much cost difference.

3.Star Trek - The Squire of Gothos
One of the climaxes of the episode comes near the end when Kirk gets chased by the Squire through the woods Richard Connell style. There are all sorts of different angles and distances used here, and not always to the benefit of the scene. The directing does nothing to hide the faults of the "fighting" and the set flaws. Still, there are some good POV shots through the trees and some framing by shrubbery.
